The practitioners of mining machinery industry know that the abrasion of hammers of
Hammer Crusher plant is related to many factors, such as the granularity, types, hardness, moisture and temperature of the materials to be crushed, the linear speed of hammers and the setting of the discharging mouth. For this reason, as for the manufacturing companies, reasonably choosing the material texture is important. After long time of tracking practice, the engineers of Clirik Machinery find the abrasion of the hammers and the selection of materials are related to the types of the crusher. To reduce the unnecessary investment for the customers, Clirik experts give the following advice on the selection of hammers for Hammer Crusher plant:
Large-sized
Hammer Crusher plant whose feeding granularity is bigger than 400 mm should choose big hammers with piece weight over 50-125kg. As the impact force is big, safety should be put on top priority in the using process. The texture selection should first consider super high manganese alloy steel or alloying high manganese.
Medium and small-sized Hammer Crusher plant whose feeding granularity is smaller than 200 mm should choose the hammers with piece weight below 50kg. As the impact force is relatively small, the work hardening ability of common high manganese steel cannot be fully used, so that it will be not wear-resisting, and alloying high manganese or low and medium carbon alloy steel with limited carbon content should be selected.
Small-sized
Hammer Crusher plant whose feeding granularity is smaller than 50 mm should choose the hammers with piece weight below 15kg. As the impact force is even smaller, it is not suitable for choosing high manganese steel, but medium-carbon medium-alloy steel is suitable.
As for the tertiary crusher whose feeding granularity is smaller than 100 mm, the impact force is just medium, so that high tenacity superhigh chromium cast iron will be ideal, as its hardness is bigger than HRC60 and the impact toughness is higher than ak8J/cm2 and the service life is 3~5 times higher than that of high manganese steel.
